I tryed to install FreeBSD 3.3,3.4, and 4.0 release on the last three gig of a 25 gig drive with no success. After an install attempt the partition table of my disk is corrupt. Now it is so screwed up that Partition Magic cant read it. Through testing I determined that all I have to do to corrupt the partition table is load the fdisk style editor (boot the install cd ) and hit "w" to write the info. I changed nothing and only performed a write. Looking at the partition info below, it appears as though the installer is having some sort of 1023/4 cyclnder limit problem. I thought this was not an issue with LBA?
