Just a note to let you know that the latest round of cpufreq.ko and acpi.ko updates have once again made everything work on my Toshiba A60 laptop. :) Thanks for all the hard work you've done in this area. A cvsup to 6-CURRENT sources on Friday, and a recompile of the kernel without CPU_ENABLE_TCC gives me the following set of sysctls: dev.cpu.0.%desc: ACPI CPU (2 Cx states) dev.cpu.0.%driver: cpu dev.cpu.0.%location: handle=\_PR_.CPU0 dev.cpu.0.%pnpinfo: _HID=none _UID=0 dev.cpu.0.%parent: acpi0 dev.cpu.0.freq: 2800 dev.cpu.0.freq_levels: 2800/-1 2450/-1 2100/-1 1750/-1 1400/-1 1050/-1 700/-1 350/-1 dev.p4tcc.0.%parent: cpu0 dev.cpufreq.0.%driver: cpufreq dev.cpufreq.0.%parent: cpu0 I haven't tested any of the freq_levels yet, but it's nice to see them listed again. :) This is with acpi_load="YES" and cpufreq_load="YES" in loader.conf. -- Freddie Cash fcash@ocis.net
