Yes, I have read you handbook and FAQ and well as preinstall and install for bsd and looked at the questions and answers in bsd. I also sat up all night reading it. My hard drive shows 329mega bytes of free space. Using fips I created a second partion from my ms-dos partion. It showed 33mega bytes created for second partion. I used fdisk and option #4 to view my partions and my second partion(the one I just created) it seems to show at least 225 mega bytes. Booting from floppy disk that I created with ftp downloading boot and the boot image. My boot came up just like documention said it would and when just fine untill. I got to freebsd\'s partion editor. I attempted to create a freebsd from my unused partion disk space. I could only get 1megabyte of space. When I got to lable to create /user and my root directory ect.. I do not have enough space to create what I needed. My question is I started with 329 mega bytes of free space starting with fips. fips says it will create as much free space as possible on my second partion. Do you have any useful suggestions for me that can help me finish installing this. I have windows95 and a 486dx cpu with a 1.2geg hard drive.
