Hello
I'm using two MA401 (prism 2.5) and one MA301 to
connect PC(FreeBSD) and Notebook(WinXP).
When it's 1.5M apart each other in the same room,
maximum speed I can get is 150KB up, 300KB down,
and when notebook is out of my room(about 6 meter), 90KB up and 200KB down(both are from client-notebook-'s perspective).
I swapped PCCARDs each other, tried every channel, tried ad-hoc instead of hostap, wep on/off... and everything I can think of but got almost identical result. except channel thing.. I got better result from lower channel.
Is it normal?
Here's dmesg and such..
