There's a little extra overhead in m= ake.conf, probably not significant. And the disk space used for the cache. Thanks for a the info Warren, I'll see about putting it in production, I'd l= ove saving some time when updating boxes. Besides, smaller update times (as in, human time spent) will help me defend f= bsd against debian kfreebsd :/
