Wake up.  There is no API, either for the functions or for the linking
line (the closest thing to that is krb5-config which I've added and
that MIT implementation is also going to add).  And how do you know
what other libraries are needed be the implementation?  If you use DNS
you might need to link against libresolv (on some platforms).
