We are using jboss 4.0.4RC1 with jdk-1.5.0p2_6 on both 5.4-STABLE and RELENG_6, without any issues. Try updating to the latest revision of the jdk15 port and if it still crashes, post the hotspot log file. Cheers, Panagiotishome | help
