Hello, I am having a problem installing FreeBSD 4.0 (MAr 2000) on my NEC ULTRALIGHT Versa, 486 SL, 12 MB ram -- it has a 340 HD, and it seems to recognize ATAPI, but not the drive when I go to install... I am installing off of floppies... and have made the two standard install disks to start with, but I cannot get to using teh BIN floppies because it will not see my HD when I go to do the configuration through the sysinstall menu. Any help would be appreciated as I have installed this many times on traditional computer desktops, but this is my first time with a laptop. And I HAVE to have it on my laptop. Yesterday. In order to run a debugger only available for UNIX. Thank you, Jer To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
