For several reasons.
One is that we had metaports way before we had USES=metaport
Another reason is that it doesn't hurt. That is not the same as to say that it
adds any value.

So far you have failed to provide any reason as to why this should be in the
documentation.

You fail again to explain *what* is made easier and more obvious.

What value adds the fact the the user is aware that a port is a metaport by
looking at the description?
