Does anyone have pointers to patches/instructions for compiling the
JDK on Solaris with gcc? For a research project, we are trying to
instrument the jdk -- I'm already trying out the FreeBSD patches to
1.3.1, but we also would like it to work on solaris (and this seems so
far to be impossible without Workshop and the sun compiler).

Thanks
Viren
