First I mis read the handbook and bought > the D-Link DFE-530TX+, which does not have a driver (they used to have one > for DFE-530TX) hi Radhika, I know that the D-Link DFE-530TX+ is not mentioned in HARDWARE.TXT and the D-Link DFE-530TX is (can someone tell me the difference between the two??), but my old Pentium 166 running 4.4-RELEASE find the card and calls it rl0, and rl1 (I have two of them installed). This is my first stab at FreeBSD, so I've not customized anything, everything on my system is from a default (minimal) install. Does FreeBSD not recognize it at all on your machine, or do you have problems getting it to work? Admittedly, I've not *used* the cards yet since I've yet to hook up my home network, but I am guessing (and hoping) that since it was recognized okay in the boot messages that it will function properly... The other good news is that D-Link mentions on their website that FreeBSD drivers are available for the DFE-530TX+, see here: http://www.dlink.com/products/kits/dfe910/SpecsTable.htm -- N.
