A: bhyve supports any version of FreeBSD amd64 with VirtIO support, plus OpenBSD amd64 and GNU/Linux amd64 using the sysutils/grub2-bhyve port to load them:


FreeBSD 8.4-RELEASE amd64 and 8-STABLE amd64FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE amd64 9-STABLE amd64FreeBSD 10 (All amd64 versions)FreeBSD 11-CURRENT amd64OpenBSD amd64 HEAD as of late October, 2013GNU/Linux amd64
