https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=210200 Bug ID: 210200 Summary: hostapd and 802.11n Product: Base System Version: 11.0-CURRENT Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: misc Assignee: freebsd-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: borisboris@gmx.net The hostapd is compiled without CONFIG_IEEE80211N=y. The new ath drivers under Freebsd 11-CURRENT are having 802.11n capabilities. I can compile the port with CONFIG_IEEE80211N=y option. No problems at all. Wouldn't it be better having that support compiled in base system? The (n) is supported at least under ath drivers and it's working fine so far. Thank you so far. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
