I believe that is incorrect. It may be disabled in the client by default, but it should not be disabled on the server. There is no risk to the server by enabling X forwarding. The risk is to the client. Just make sure your ~/.ssh/config file contains a "ForwardX11 yes" line in an appropriate place.
