All the more reason to keep the release engineers informed. Please
send all MFC requests to re@FreeBSD.org before committing, as everyone
else has done. I would have liked to include this in RC2 (building
now) if we were made aware of it.

Yea, that's the general message we tried to convey with the reminder
emails, the web schedule at www.freebsd.org/internal/releng45.html,
the "FreeBSD-stable tree frozen in preparation for 4.5" announcement
on www.freebsd.org, and the pervasive "approved by: re" lines.
