Hi, I read the mail, then went and downloaded the .gz file (not by the lame methods of going to the corel site...that is pain in the butt.) but when I got the file in few minuets and put it in /usr/ports/distfiles and returned to /usr/ports/editors/wordperfect.It loaded in like 2 seconds. I have here a PII 400 and 64 MB of ram. When you did the make install, did you go as root do /usr/local/lib/corel/wpbin and run ./xwp ? If you didn't that might be your problem. I was able to open my windows word business plans like fast and they are on a server 20 miles from this box. Hope that gives you some help.
