I went out and purchased a PCIe ethernet card - it uses the em driver. = The system=20 boots and it is em0. It works fine in 100Mb mode, but in gigabit mode, it does not pass any = traffic although ifconfig reports the card as active and that it has negotiated 1000BTX full duplex. I have tried plugging both the igb and em cards into 2 different = switches with the same result.
