The problem is that "kernel: pid 73849 (conftest), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)" is syslogged. It is sent to the central logserver, where the security team see it and create Jira tickets, asking me what's happening. Since 9.3 is soon EOL I don't expect any action.
