Greetings!
     Does someone knowledgeable in the bsd.port.mk
black magic have a nice little script that digs
through the ports Makefiles and identifies any/all
files that are NOT present under distfiles?  I think
a list of such files could be beneficial on the CD-ROM
(at least *I* would be thankful!) as it tells you
what files you should grab "quickly" after a release
(since I find many ports go "stale" in a short time frame
and the distfiles are no longer available at the sites
listed).
     Just MHO...
