I've sent two laptops back to Sony, the first one twice. The first time took about 4 weeks to get back, and that was after sending a registered threat that my credit card company would refund me and take it up directly with them. The second time took about two weeks because they wouldn't agree that there was a fault with the BIOS chip, and the third (only a few weeks ago) took 3/4 working days as advertised (although they did threaten to charge me for the broken screen hinge all the way up until they shipped it back and said "oh no, there's obviously no charge". I believe Joe's aware of Sony's ever-surprising customer service, that's why it's taken him so long to send it back :-( > Warner -- Brian <brian@Awfulhak.org> <brian@[uk.]FreeBSD.org> <http://www.Awfulhak.org> <brian@[uk.]OpenBSD.org> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour !
