https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D230196 Bug ID: 230196 Summary: mail/Mail/mailx broken in recent update Product: Base System Version: 10.4-STABLE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bsd@medieval.org The /usr/bin/mail program source was updated last month. I recent built a = new world, and find it to be buggy. Two bugs noted (consistently) so far: The first generates a core dump on ordinary activity to view a message: 1. A long message with attachment - doubt the attachment matters, but long. 2. View it with 't' from main menu - pages to 'less'. 3. Hit 'q' to stop before I get to the attachment (or after). 4. Should return to '& ' prompt, but I get '& Segmentation fault(core dumpe= d)' instead. 5. The program crashes, and mail.core is produced. The second issue: ^C no longer does anything to break out of composing a message. (Must use 'kill' from outside the program.) PS. I emailed this to eadler, the maintainer mentioned in the new sources, before searching for this form. My apologies for duplication. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
