Starting with rev. 1.107 of sys/i386/i386/autoconf.c you MUST have
``options {FFS,NFS,CD9660}_ROOT'' in your kernel config file if you want
to mount a {FFS,NFS,CD9660} /.
So make absolutely sure you've got at least ``options FFS_ROOT''.
