When ixgbe interface is opened many times it changes the status to "no carrier" and needs a reboot to work again. It's quite easy to reproduce the issue, just use two machines with ixgbe driver sending and receiving packets using pkt-gen. Run pkt-gen many times with option like -p and -c. To make sure it was a driver update issue i downgrade it ixgbe driver (version 3.1.13-K) released with FreeBSD-11.1-RELEASE and worked fine. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
