Sergey,

Please back this change out, or fix the problem; the /etc/rc scripts are
generating a lot of spurious output due to stderr redirection apparently
now being broken:

...
Dec 24 16:54:30 alsvid kernel: /dev/ad0s1a: clean, 750410 free (102770 frags, 80955 blocks, 2.6% fragmentation)

...
Dec 24 16:54:31 alsvid kernel: ls:
Dec 24 16:54:31 alsvid kernel: /dev/tty[pqrsPQRS]*: No such file or directory
...

These are all acceptable errors intentionally masked in the boot process.
Well, some of them are questionable, but the 'intentionally masked'
comment still applies. Other responses have suggested that many other
things are now broken, including autoconf. The Release Engineering team
will *not* be approving an MFC of this change prior to 4.5-RELEASE as it
stands, and in order for such a change to become acceptable for MFC, it
will need at least a few weeks of burn-in. That means fixing this in
-CURRENT as soon as possible.
