--Apple-Mail=_4A50B4A9-D84E-44F0-8359-682E001E22FB Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Apologies, I saw the following status update from you in Bugzilla: Status: New =E2=86=92 Open Flags: maintainer-feedback?(gnome@FreeBSD.org) =E2=86=92 = maintainer-feedback+ so I assumed that was a form of approval. In any case, the problem with sysutils/tracker3 is not so much with the = program itself, as with the generation of some of its .c files by vala. = I have attempted to look into what vala is doing in generating these .c = files, but I could not figure out how to make it do the right thing. That is, I suspect that upgrading tracker3 to the latest upstream = release, while probably OK in itself, will not solve the particular = issue with the clang 16 warning. -Dimitry > On 15 Jun 2023, at 18:32, Charlie Li <vishwin@freebsd.org> wrote: >=20 > Dimitry Andric wrote: >> PR: 271968 >> Approved by: vishwin, fernape > For the record, I did not approve or disapprove, this was entirely on = fernape@'s word. I am more disappointed that we don't put more effort = into (at least looking into) avoiding possibly unnecessary patching or = constructs, especially when newer upstream versions exist. >=20 > -- > Charlie Li > =E2=80=A6nope, still don't have an exit line. >=20 --Apple-Mail=_4A50B4A9-D84E-44F0-8359-682E001E22FB Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: Message signed with OpenPGP -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.2 iF0EARECAB0WIQR6tGLSzjX8bUI5T82wXqMKLiCWowUCZIs+7gAKCRCwXqMKLiCW o707AKDz6Qxu6PxMU3cOMOP0wI1F3BBqNwCcC/byx3RUhPz02PGWJ7/E9M4/r0w= =7eGg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Apple-Mail=_4A50B4A9-D84E-44F0-8359-682E001E22FB--
