in testing a little bit more I'm finding some weirdness with portmaster it
seems

portmaster -GDb ghc

is what I've been doing, tried

portmaster -Gb ghc

no difference, but just going into ports tree and doing

make clean stage

seems to be building just fine. I think somewhere maybe portmaster is taint=
ing
the build environment??? it doesn't seem to be coming from ports directly,
least not on this port in particular. I'm going to file something on that a=
nd
reference this PR.
