FreeBSD 2.1.5 is a long-obsolete, unsupported version of the system.
It is unlikely than anyone can answer the question.  According to my
shelf-o'-CDs, FreeBSD 2.1.5 was released in August, 1996 -- that's
more than three years ago.  We have had 13 releases since then.  You
should upgrade to the latest release of the software, which is not
believed to have any outstanding Y2K problems.
