Also, the next patch I'm working on is to setup the x86 CD so that it can use
cdboot (note that which one you use, cdboot or boot.flp is an argument you give
to mkisofs, I won't change that until cdboot is confirmed to work on most
machines) and to use the GENERIC kernel for booting via cdboot and for the
Alpha.  IA64 should be able to use a full GENERIC kernel for the CD as well. 
Only x86 with emulation booting really had the size limitation for booting off
of the CD.
