i know i have asked this question before. but never got a clear answer. is a PCI
card always detected (shown with the dmesg output or at boot-up) no matter if it
is supported? i have an Ensoniq PCI sound card. it does not show at boot up at
all. is this normal? or it suggests some installation problem? it works fine
with Windoze though. some one pls answer this. i've spent hours on this problem.
i am new to FreeBSD. pls help.
