Dear Alexey, > > I am trying to build JDK 1.2.2 on FreeBSD 4.0 and got an error mesage: > "ALT_BOOTDIR does not point to a valid JDK". I've manualy set > ALT_BOOTDIR to /usr/local/linux-jdk1.2.2 but it does not help. > Help me to get through it. > Are you using my build instructions (http://www.kjkoster.org/java/) or the port? Is the Linux JDK actually installed? :-) If you are using mine, please make sure that you have applied the patches. The error message also crops up if you forget that. Try running "/usr/local/linux-jdk1.2.2/bin/java -version" to see if the JDK is set up properly. Have you enabled the Linux emu? Sorry for the braindump, it's a little early in the morning. |-( Kees Jan ================================================ You are only young once, but you can stay immature all your life.
