I have had some difficulties, but I find that if you delete the host keys that you had originally cached used ssh, things work quite a bit better. If you are using windows based SSH clients, you need to watch out for this too. In particular SecureCRT needs to be at least V2.2.2 otherwise it will refuse to connect.
