"Justification by code." Good for you. I could possibly contribute 
code as well, but thus far naysayers such as you and Mike Smith 
have been sufficiently discouraging that I have not done so.

One of the things that I've observed is that code may be the *least* 
of the things that FreeBSD needs. Right now, it needs advocacy and 
strategic direction much more than it needs more cooks. 

And some of the people involved, such as yourself, also need 
better manners.
