"Justification by code." Good for you. I could possibly contribute code as well, but thus far naysayers such as you and Mike Smith have been sufficiently discouraging that I have not done so. One of the things that I've observed is that code may be the *least* of the things that FreeBSD needs. Right now, it needs advocacy and strategic direction much more than it needs more cooks.
