> I've used portdowngrade for that purpose. My GF3 is not supported > by 97xx as well. The x11/nvidia-driver port has a WITH_LEGACY_GPU_SUPPORT knob that downgrades it all the way to version 7184, which supports many older GPUs. - Bartosz
