If you dont have the directory /usr/src/sys that means that you did not install the Kernel source. If you /stand/sysinstall and look around in there, you will find the Kernel source to install (it may be in distributions but not sure). If you desire to just make that empty directory, use the mkdir command --Chris >dear sir, > >I installed FreeBSD4.2 use pxeboot functon & DHCP server without kern.flp / >mfsroot.flp diskette. > >But, there was no /usr/src/sys directory. > >so, I coundn't compile kernel that I want. > >how can I make /usr/src/sys directory?? > >would you help me? please, please, please~~ > > >================================================== >Kim, Yuenjeong >SayClub System Engineering Team >talley@neowiz.com <mailto:talley@neowiz.com> / 82-2-2190-3439 >http://www.sayclub.com <http://www.sayclub.com> >================================================== > > _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
