https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=241531 Bug ID: 241531 Summary: autofs: stale entries remain in /media, "automount -c" does not remove them Product: Base System Version: 11.3-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: vas@sibptus.ru I'm using the -media map attached to /media. The problem is that stale entries for removed CDROMs remain in /media forever. Please note that: 1. Running /etc/autofs/special_media does not show those CDROMs but they are still in /media 2. Even running "/usr/sbin/automount -c" by hand DOES NOT help, the stale entries are still there. Only restarting the automountd and autounmountd daemons removes those entries. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.help
