When 13 was -current, I've had great experiences with em0 ethernet cards. I don't have a physical box with 14 at the moment. This one has been on 13 since 2020/10/26, the other one a while longer. em0: flags=8963<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,PROMISC,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 1500 options=4810099<RXCSUM,VLAN_MTU,VLAN_HWTAGGING,VLAN_HWCSUM,VLAN_HWFILTER,NOMAP> ether XXX inet XXX media: Ethernet autoselect (1000baseT <full-duplex>) status: active nd6 options=29<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED,AUTO_LINKLOCAL> Between two motherboards, I think I have 3 of them (1 on peripheral card), but the only one I can get at this minute identifies itself as: em0: <Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection> mem 0xa3400000-0xa341ffff at device 31.6 on pci0 Never had an issue with any of my switches, although I seem to have mostly netgears at home.
