Solved!

I had a second pcic (pcic1) left in from the config file (PAO)
which is in there by default and was sharing irq 11 with pcic0.

I also changed irq of pcic0 to 5, FWIW.

I'm not sure now which measure was the crucial one, after changing
two things at once, but so what.
