Jordan,

        Would it be possible to keep a .tgz image of sys/src for the
releases and the snaps  on 
the ftp site? It would be much easier to upgrade a system this way,
particularly  for those that 
need a feature occasionally but do not want to run -current (Not a bad idea
for -current either).
