in mount_portal, there is code to activate a socket. This is more or less
servicing a kernel request. So, mount_portal opens the socket and then
calls sendmsg to return status to the kernel. The actual sendmsg to the
kernel returns EINVAL.

Anyone else out there having good luck with 3.0-current and portalfs?
