OK. I'm running this with a K6-2, which as yet, doesn't have mtrr support
under FreeBSD. I'll be addressing the mtrr issue later.

Hmmm. If I sent you a trace of all the ioctl calls, their values (both sent &
received) and details of the hardware setup, would you be able to eyeball them
and say if there's anything being done incorrectly?
