You could use ftp4.de.freebsd.org, we are also a major G-Win
site, so connectivity should be well enough.
We also offer rsync, so there is no need to mess around with FTP
mirror. The FreeBSD module is called "FreeBSD" ;-).
We update the FreeBSD archive per cvsup from ftp-master once
a day.
We carry also the CVS repository (updated hourly) and the CTM
deltas.
