As far as I know, the cvsupit port only asks you for the various options the first time you run it, i.e. when you install it. It sets up for you the file /etc/cvsupfile which you should use any time in the future you would like to cvsup. I think it even says so when installing the port. So, to cvsup simply type cvsup -g -L2 /etc/cvsupfile at the prompt and see what's going on.
