--- Comment #68 from Hannes Hauswedell <h2+fbsdports@fsfe.org> ---
Any news on this issue?

After I finished Pillars Of Eternity 1 with the FMOD-preload, I went ahead and
got Pillars Of Eternity 2. Although it seems to be very similar on a technical
level (also Unity engine), it does not need the FMOD-preload thing to emit
correct sound. However, the game crashes about 30seconds into the first combat,
dumping either

SDLAudioP2.core
or
SDLHotplugALSA.core

-- each around 3.3GB big. Using the FMOD-preload thing doesn't change this
behaviour.

Note that the game says the following upon starting:
Preloaded 'libdiscord-rpc.so'
Preloaded 'libAkFlanger.so'
Preloaded 'libAkHarmonizer.so'
Preloaded 'libAkPitchShifter.so'
Preloaded 'libAkSoundEngine.so'
Preloaded 'libAkStereoDelay.so'
Preloaded 'libAkTremolo.so'
Preloaded 'libMcDSP.so'
Preloaded 'libsteam_api.so'
Unable to preload the following plugins:
        ScreenSelector.so
        libSDL2-2.0.so

It seems to load these dynamically and says that it doesn't load SDL2, although
the library is available and the crash dumps seem to indicate that it is using
SDL, as well.
