It should do a sleep/pause every time you enter '.', which should allow the interrupt-driven enumeration to finish. It's been a long time since I've done it, but it seems to still work... I just plugged in a usb drive while I was at the prompt and it didn't show up until the second time I entered a '.'. -- Ian
