The 7880-based adaptecs (2940UW) are perhaps a little better, but it's hard to quantify this. Tha 7860-based Adaptec controllers (2940U, 2940AU) are a _lot_ worse. > -Gary Margiotta -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control.
