Apologies, I saw the following status update from you in Bugzilla:

so I assumed that was a form of approval.

In any case, the problem with sysutils/tracker3 is not so much with the =
program itself, as with the generation of some of its .c files by vala. =
I have attempted to look into what vala is doing in generating these .c =
files, but I could not figure out how to make it do the right thing.

That is, I suspect that upgrading tracker3 to the latest upstream =
release, while probably OK in itself, will not solve the particular =
issue with the clang 16 warning.
