Btw, I installed the linux_base package of 3.4 RELEASE from an ftp server, it wanted a small rpm package, well.., and the rp7etc Installer went ok. There is now realplay, not shure if the plugin is ok, audio has some glitches, it allways starts with volume=0, but it works, with local mp3s... Does this make any sense: uzs106@moritz$ realplay /dos/R*3 LINUX: 'ioctl' fd=9, typ=0x450(P), num=0x17 not implemented ?? But I know now the right direction, helas... Well, I learned a lot about X in this context, and that was worth it, I even managed something with tilde and german keyboards in X ;-), dead keys (?), thanks again, Heiko @3.1 RELEASE...
