1)	Not all BIOS does translation.

2)	Not all translation is equal.

3)	You can't pound 9G of 512B sectors into 24 bits, no way, no how;
	the max is, and will remain, 8G, assuming you burn all C/H/S bits
	available to you.

4)	Some BIOS are going to make the decision for you.
