Hi all, I did a cvsup on the night of June 24/25, got the world built, installed, /etc updated, the kernel config file updated, built the kernel, updated it, and when I attempt to boot, I get the following error: .: Out of file descriptors This is shortly after the "nmging root on da1s1a" message comes out. /root is at 31%, and that after I went in and cleaned out some things (34% down to 31%), /var is in a seperate partition. Okay, I am confused. What is going on? How do I correct this situation? BTW, the system comes up in single user, so I can poke around, mount / on /dev/sd1s1a, so its not like /root is hosed. Is there some "secret" filesystem I am not aware of that might be full? If it matters (it didn't seem to) I built GENERIC in the /sys/ i386/conf directory, same error message happens. And, my last cvsup was 7 February, but I was runnnig ELF with the updated boot blocks. At least, I think I was...
