At least I've only used line editors with ASR's, both the new sleak ones and the old ones that inspired terse command names <g>, running at up to that baudrate. But if you must, well, then you must. Still think a line editor like ed would 'redraw' a heck of a faster <g>. Yeah, I know, the trick was to minimize screen redraws.
